Suspect sought after senior assault

Police are looking for a suspect after a senior was assaulted outside his Forest Glade home last Thursday.

Just before 10 p.m. Windsor police were called to a home on Atwater Crescent for an injured person.

Officers found a 75-year-old man with significant injuries to his face, including a large laceration, abrasions, and substantial bruising.

The victim told police that he was outside his home when he saw someone rummaging through recycling bins. There was an altercation and the victim was assaulted.

The victim was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a white man between 30 and 40 years old who is around 5'4" tall, bald and clean-shaven. At the time of the incident, he wore a beige sweater and was riding a three-wheeled bicycle with a trailer attachment.

Investigators ask anyone in this area to check their surveillance footage for possible evidence.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
