Police investigating double shooting

The Windsor Police Service (WPS) is investigating a double shooting near the city's downtown.

Police responded, just before 2 a.m. Saturday, to reports that two people had been shot at a Giles Boulevard West address.

Once on scene, officers located a 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe that the shooting was targeted.

The suspect(s) and gun involved in the incident have not been located.

Police are asking residents in the area of Giles Boulevard West and Victoria Avenue to review any security camera footage for suspicious activity.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
