Pedestrian seriously injured in South Windsor collision

A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries when they were struck by a vehicle on Everts Avenue Sunday night.

Police were called to Everts Avenue between Norfolk Street and Liberty Street just after 6 p.m.

Officers learned a pedestrian was struck from behind by a car travelling northbound on Everts.

A 35-year was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information about the incident is urged to contact the Traffic Enforcement Unit at 519-945-9645, ext. 223.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
