Teen charged following incident at Leamington school

A 15-year-old has been arrested after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say they directed a threat at a school.

Few details have been released, but on Tuesday, police at the Leamington detachment responded to a threat made at a local high school. Officers tracked down the teen and arrested them without incident.

The suspect is charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. The teen is not being identified under the Ontario Youth Criminal Justice Act.

No one was hurt, and there was no threat to the public.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
