The City of Windsor is developing a design plan for the city's first full-size cricket pitch.
The pitch will be located at Derwent Park, which has about 11 acres of recreational green space. The park is located on Forest Glade Drive near the Children's Safety Village.
In addition to the cricket pitch, the city is planning multi-use pathways, a new parking lot, improved drainage and public washrooms.
Councillors committed $100,000 to undertake a complete design.
To help create the plan, the city is asking residents to fill out a survey. The survey is open until January 12, 2024.
