Windsor City Council considers starting meetings earlier

On Monday's city council agenda is an item calling for an earlier start to council meetings.

A report to council recommends meetings start at 1 p.m. instead of 4 p.m.

It suggests making the change in the new year, saying it would "help alleviate some of the added costs and ongoing challenges."

It also says the new start time would allow staff to deal with technological issues inside the city's regular office hours.

In-camera meetings would have to be scheduled before 1 p.m.

The general public can participate in council meetings in person or electronically by tuning in on the municipal webpage.
