Holiday Smile Cookie raises over $140K for local charities

The first Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie campaign raised $140,738 for two local charities in Windsor and Essex County.

Windsor-Essex Tim Hortons restaurant owners helped to raise the funds between November 13-19, 2023 with the sales of white-chocolate sugar cookies.

The funds were split between the Windsor Essex Food Bank Association and the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

“We are grateful to the Tim Hortons Restaurants Owners for launching the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign and the generosity from our community as the holiday season can be a challenging time for many,” said June Muir, President of the Windsor Essex Food Bank Association. “This substantial donation will go directly to purchasing food to ensure it reaches the plates of those facing hunger.”

Throughout Canada the campaign raised $9.8 million that will be donated to over 600 local charities.
