Tecumseh Goodfellows receives big toy donation from local auto parts manufacturer

Employees of KB Components Canada donated over 300 toys and bags of groceries to the Goodfellows campaign in Tecumseh.

"It's amazing, it's amazing to see the generosity of everyone. We have hundreds of toys that we've donated and it was really nice to have the local community come in to help collect the toys as well," said Cindy Branquet

The Tecumseh Fire Department picked up the donations that filled multiple vans on Tuesday afternoon.

Captain Sean McNamara, president of the Tecumseh Goodfellows, said this donation was one of their biggest this year.

"We're extremely lucky for all the support that we get in our community but to have approximately 300 toys and another carload of food to help out our local charities, it's going to make a big difference," said McNamara.

The toys will be distributed next week to families in need along with holiday food hampers.
