Eight displaced in fire near downtown Windsor

Windsor fire officials say eight people are looking for a place to stay after a fire Thursday afternoon.

Windsor Fire and Rescue crews were called shortly after 3 p.m. to a home on Niagara Street near Langlois Avenue.

Few details have been released, but no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is accidental, with a damage estimate of $200,000.
