OPP lay charges after robbery

A Windsor resident faces charges after a robbery in Tecumseh on December 6.

The Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a robbery on 10th Concession Road around 9:30 p.m. The victim told police an unknown person, armed with what looked like a firearm, approached them in their car and demanded property.

Tecumseh OPP arrested a 53-year-old. He's charged with robbery with a firearm, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, pointing a firearm, extortion, and assault with a weapon.

None of the charges have been proven in court.
