OPP clear scene following Sunday night investigation

Ontario Provincial Police have reopened an intersection following what was described as a police situation.

Few details have been released, but around 8 p.m. Friday, the OPP reported a large presence in the area of Highway 3 and Oldcastle Road.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area.

The OPP tweeted before 11 p.m. Sunday that officers had cleared the scene.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
