Stabbing suspect arrested

Windsor police have arrested a 32 year-old man in connection to a stabbing.

On Saturday just before 3:30 p.m. officers were called to an apartment building at the 400 block of Glengarry Avenue for reports of a stabbing.

The suspects allegedly fled the scene before police arrived.

Officers said surveillance video was reviewed that showed the suspect stab the victim.

The 34 year-old male was allegedly stabbed in the lower back following a physical altercation.

The suspect was located and arrested three hours later in the area of 900 Block of Wyandette Street East.

The 32 year-old is now facing a number of charges including, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and breach of probation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
