Police search for woman in possible distress

Windsor Police hope the public can help them find a woman who was bleeding heavily when she left the Sobeys in Amherstburg on Wednesday afternoon.

She was driving a white SUV, and left the store on Sandwich Street South around 1:30 p.m.

Police are concerned for her wellbeing and ask anyone who knows her whereabouts to call 519-258-6111.

The woman is white with brown shoulder-length hair. She is 5'5' and between 75 and 85-years-old. She wore a red or pink coat, black shoes, and black pants.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
