Suspect wanted in fraud investigation

Windsor police are hoping someone can help identify a suspect wanted in a fraud investigation.

The suspect is wanted on a total of 12 charges, including two counts of fraud over $5,000 and two counts of identify theft.

Police say the suspect used a fake driver's licence to try to finance the purchase of two new vehicles.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Financial Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4330.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
