Windsor man charged with sexually assaulting a teen

A 36-year-old man has been arrested after Windsor police allege he held a teenage girl against her will and repeatedly abused her.

The Major Crimes Unit began an investigation after it learned that a 15-year-old was confined for four days and sexually assaulted multiple times.

Police learned that the victim was able to escape from a home on Glengarry Avenue near University Avenue East. The victim was treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers arrested a suspect over the weekend.

Alexander Chapman Fuerth of Windsor is charged with forcible confinement, sexual assault, sexual interference with a minor, assault, assault by choking, and mischief under $5,000.

The charges have not been proven in court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
