OPP investigating collision in Lakeshore

The Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a two-vehicle collision in Lakeshore Tuesday morning.

Two vehicles collided on County Road 22 near Commercial Boulevard around 9:30 a.m.

A section of County Road 22 between Manning Road and West Pike Creek Road was temporarily closed.

The driver from one of the vehicles was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The second driver was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing. There's no word on if there will be any charges.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
