Suspect sought in Windsor apartment house theft

Windsor police are hoping someone can help them identify a person who allegedly stole a bicycle outside a downtown apartment building.

It happened on December 20, 2023, on Park Street West near Church Street. Police say the suspect was captured on surveillance video.

Investigators have released an image of the suspect, who is wanted on a charge of theft under $5,000.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has additional information should call the Windsor police's patrol support unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4000. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
