Man charged after Forest Glade B&Es

Windsor police arrested and charged a man after multiple break and enter attempts in Forest Glade.

On New Year’s Eve, a man forced his way into the front door of a house on Hawthorne Drive. When he was confronted by the homeowner, he threw a chair at them before taking off.

On New Year’s Day, the same person attempted to enter another house on Hawthorne Drive but was unsuccessful.

On January 9, members of the Windsor Police Target Base Unit found and arrested a 27-year-old in connection to these incidents. He has been charged with break and enter, assault with a weapon, mischief causing damage, having a mask to disguise, attempted break and enter and failing to comply with a release order.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
