Search for missing man shifts to Black Oak

Windsor police have confirmed that the search for a missing 64-year-old man is the reason behind an increased presence in the west end.

Officers spent much of Wednesday in the area of Black Oak Heritage Park in connection with the disappearance of Scott Kersey, missing since Christmas Day.

Police only reported that there had been an active investigation in the Black Oak area and did not provide details.

Kersey is described as a Black male, 5'3", and weighing 100 pounds.

At the time he was last seen, Hersey was wearing a white suit with black lapels and boots. A similar suit is pictured below.

Anyone with information on Hersey's whereabouts should call Windsor police immediately at (519) 258-6111. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
