$35K of illegal drugs seized

Windsor police seized over $35,000 worth of illegal drugs after searching a home on Glengarry Avenue on Thursday.

The Windsor Police Drugs and Guns Unit seized 209 grams of fentanyl, 84 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 33 grams of cocaine, 33 morphine tablets, $620, and two digital scales.

A 44-year-old Windsor man was arrested on site. He is facing multiple charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
