Amherstburg man wins Brentwood Dream Lottery home

David Mickle of Amherstburg won the grand prize draw at Saturday afternoon's Brentwood Dream Home Lottery.

The 32nd annual event showcased over 100 prizes, including four early bird draws for $25,000 each, and the 23 grand prizes of cash, cars and an exciting new home in Harrow.

Mickle's win entitles him to a stunning 1600 square foot, three bedroom, three bathroom house with finished basement, built by the lottery’s community partner NOR-Built Construction.

Other big prize winners include Lloyd Chase of Windsor, who took home the 50/50 prize of $143,100.

Patrick St. Denis, Shawn Hopkins and Amy Schauber all won vehicles in the draw.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
