Four suspects arrested following robbery, one person still sought

Windsor police have arrested four suspects and are looking for a fifth person following a robbery in the city's east end.

On Thursday, at about 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a person who had been robbed in a parking lot on Tecumseh Road East.

According to police, the victim was surrounded and assaulted by a group of suspects, stripped of his clothing and personal items, and left in the parking lot.

Four people were located and arrested shortly after.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with:

  • Robbery with violence

  • Assault with a weapon

  • Wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence

  • Uttering death threats

  • Failure to comply with an undertaking

A 13-year-old male has been charged with:

  • Robbery with violence

  • Failure to comply with an undertaking (x 2)

A 15-year-old male has been charged with:

  • Robbery with violence

  • Failure to comply with an undertaking (x 2)

A second 15-year-old male has been charged with:

  • Robbery with violence

  • Mischief

  • Failure to comply with an undertaking

Police continue to look for a 13-year-old female in connection to the incident. She is wanted on a charge of robbery with violence.

The names of the underage suspects cannot be released due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
