Shots fired in South Walkerville

Windsor police are investigating after shots were fired in a South Walkerville neighbourhood Thursday morning.

Officers were called to the area of Turner Road and Somme Avenue around 1 a.m. but its believed the shots were fired on Wednesday around 1:45 a.m.

Officers found a vehicle with multiple bullet holes and several shell casings. It's believed the parked vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the shooting.

There were no physical injuries reported.

Members of the Major Crimes Unit are asking residents to review their video surveillance footage for evidence of suspicious activity.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
