Michael Bolton's Caesars Windsor appearance postponed

A concert by a multiple Grammy Award-winner is being put off till fall due to the singer's health.

Caesars Windsor announced Tuesday that a show by Michael Bolton, set for February 17, has been postponed to October 17 at 8 p.m.

"Just before the holidays, it was discovered that I had a brain tumor, which required immediate surgery," said Bolton in a statement provided by the casino. "Thanks to my incredible medical team, the surgery was a success...for the next couple of months, I will be devoting my time and energy to my recovery, which means I’ll have to take a temporary break from touring. It is always the hardest thing for me to ever disappoint my fans or postpone a show, but have no doubt I am working hard to accelerate my recovery and get back to performing soon."

Ticketholders for the February performance should hang onto their tickets, as they will be honoured for the rescheduled date. If you can not attend, refunds will be available at the point of purchase.

Tickets redeemed through Caesars Rewards will also be honoured on the new date.
