Windsor police seek suspect in auto theft

Windsor police are hoping someone can help identify a man suspected of stealing a vehicle from outside a convenience store.

It happened Tuesday at the business on Wyandotte Street East near Parent Avenue. Police say the person stole the vehicle from the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a White male, between 35 and 40 years old, and with blonde facial hair. He was wearing a cream-coloured toque, brown winter jacket, grey jogging pants, and dark boots. He also carried a black backpack.

A security camera image of the suspect has been released.

Anyone who may know who the suspect is or with additional information, should call Windsor police at (519) 258-6111. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
