Saturday night fever returns to Amherstburg

Downtown Amherstburg will be the home of boogie fever Saturday night.

The third edition of TRUE Fest, a 70s-themed dance party and community event, will take place, complete with a lineup of free events, including musical performances and drag queen shows.

"TRUE Fest is a testament to the creativity and passion that define our town," said Mayor Michael Prue. "This event not only celebrates artists and our community members, but it adds to the vibrant culture that makes Amherstburg special."

The event will also feature snack and drink stations throughout the downtown area, and a spin-to-win game in the inflatable igloos.

Everyone is invited to dress in 70s attire, and for the weather since the event is outdoors.

Complete information about TRUE Fest can be found on the Town of Amherstburg's official website.
