Windsor police seek four suspects in armed robbery

Windsor police are searching for four suspects following a robbery with a firearm.

At about 8 p.m. on Thursday, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery on Patricia Road.

Police determined that the victim, a 28-year-old man, agreed to drive the four suspects from the Burlington area to Windsor. "Once they arrived in Windsor, the suspects pointed a firearm at the victim, struck him in the head, and stole his money and vehicle," police said in a release.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects were last seen fleeing in the stolen vehicle, a 2013 grey Hyundai. Police said they were travelling east on Riverside Drive West from Patricia Road.

All four suspects are described as black males in their 20s, wearing dark clothing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
