Crash near Stoney Point closes roads

The Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a crash involving a fuel tanker and a passenger vehicle on Monday morning south of Stoney Point.

The crash has closed Comber Side Road at Lakeshore Road 302 while the Ministry of the Environment cleans up a fuel spill.

There are also road closures on County Road 2 at Comber Side Road and County Road 42 at Comber Side Road.

Police say injuries in the crash are minor.

There is no indication of how long those roads will be closed, but the OPP said it will provide an update.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
