Suspects arrested in LaSalle after thefts from vehicles

LaSalle Police credit an observant resident for two arrests after thefts from parked vehicles.

The witness called police around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday to report two suspicious men going through parked cars in the Quick Street and Morton Drive area.

Police soon arrived, arrested the pair, and discovered their vehicle was stolen in Windsor.

A 33-year-old man of no fixed address faces possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of breaking and entering instruments, and breach of probation charges.

The second suspect, a 30-year-old man of no fixed address, is charged with possession of breaking and entering instruments.
