Suspect arrested in January auto theft

Windsor police have arrested a suspect in connection with an auto theft at a convenience store.

It happened on January 23, at the business on Wyandotte Street East near Parent Avenue. Police say the person stole the vehicle from the parking lot.

Police announced on Tuesday that a man has been arrested in the case.

The 40-year-old man is charged with motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, and fraud under $5,000.

The charges have not been proven in court.
