Canada Post moving from Ouellette Avenue location

The Canada Post office in downtown Windsor is moving, but not far.

The Crown Agency confirms the current location on Ouellette Avenue at Park Street will close at the end of the business day on March 8 and reopen 300 metres away at 176 University Avenue on March 11.

It notified customers earlier this month.

Canada Post said there will be no change to post office or postal box lobby hours.

"Customers with a P.O. Box will have the option of keeping their current postal box mailing address, change their P.O. Box to another post office and change their mailing address, or close their P.O. Box," said Canada Post.

The location on Ouellette Avenue no longer meets Canada Post's needs, and the new office is more conducive to retail sales.
