An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

A 29-year-old Windsor man faces a criminal charge after Windsor Police foiled a break-and-enter in progress.They were alerted to the break-in at a business on Kennedy Drive West when the alarm in the building went off at 2 a.m. on Thursday.When officers arrived, they spotted a man running from the property.The suspect was taken into custody, and officers found several stolen items including clothing and alcohol.The break-in is still under investigation, so police ask anyone with information to call 519-255-6700 ext. 4000, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or leave a tip online at <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://www.catchcrooks.com">www.catchcrooks.com</a>.The suspect is charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.
