Teen arrested after noxious substance attack

Windsor police say they have arrested a youth after an assault over the weekend.

Officers were called around 2:30 p.m. Saturday to the area of Howard Avenue and the E.C. Row Expressway. They learned that an 18-year-old man had gotten into an argument with a 15-year-old boy who was shooting a cap gun inside a business.

The teen then allegedly sprayed a substance in the face of the 18-year-old and ran from the scene.

The victim suffered minor injuries.

Police immediately found the suspect running north on Howard Avenue and arrested him.

The suspect, who will not be identified, has been charged with assault with a weapon and administering a noxious substance.
