Windsor police investigate Howard Ave shooting

Windsor police continue to investigate after shots were fired at a home on Howard Avenue Thursday night.

Officers were called to the home between Shepherd Street and Hanna Street around 9 p.m. They found damage to the outside of a home and several empty shell casings.

There were no physical injuries reported.

Residents in the area with surveillance or dash cameras are asked to check their footage for evidence between 8:35 p.m. and 9:05 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
