Windsor Police welcome new deputy chief

As of Friday, the Windsor Police Service had a new deputy police chief of operational support.

Karel DeGraaf is a 28-year veteran of the service.

DeGraaf oversaw numerous departments at Windsor Police, including investigations, investigative support, property crimes, the Emergency Services Unit, and the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad.

He's been the Acting Deputy Chief of Operational Support since last October.
