UPDATE: Suspect in alleged St. Clair College campus sex assault identified

Windsor police have identified the suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assault investigation.

The suspect is wanted for an alleged sexual assault that happened at St. Clair College.

Members of the Major Crime Unit launched an investigation after receiving a report about a woman being sexually assaulted at the college's Talbot Road campus the evening of April 1.

Investigators said the male suspect allegledy led the woman to a stair well before he sexually assaulted her.

Police would like to thank those that helped their investigation by reaching out with information, which led them to identifying the suspect.

Although the suspect has been identified, police have not released any information about the suspect being located or if any charges have been laid at this time.
