Two injured, four arrested following assault

Two teenagers were taken to hospital following an assault outside an Ouellette Avenue bar.

Windsor police arrested four suspects just after 2:20 a.m. on Saturday.

Patrol officers said they came across a disturbance outside the bar, which is where they found an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man with serious injuries to their heads and necks.

"Officers reviewed surveillance footage, which showed a group of five men striking the victims with beer bottles and kicking them multiple times," police said in a release.

Four men, aged 24-26, have each been charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

Police are still looking for a fifth suspect.

He's described as a light-skinned man with a large afro. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a grey shirt with black sleeves, khaki pants, and white shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-255-6700, ext. 4830 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
