Windsor police stop break and enter at elementary school

Three males have been arrested after Windsor police stopped a break and enter at an east-end elementary school.

Police said they were alerted to a break-in at a school just before midnight on Saturday in the area of Cedarview Street and Isack Drive.

According to police, three people were spotted in black clothing inside the building and a perimeter was set up by officers.

When the suspects noticed police they attempted to flee but were arrested after a foot pursuit.

Officers then searched the school and found property damaged and vandalized with hate-motivated graffiti.

A 21 year-old male and two 16 year-old males have been charged with break and enter with intent to commit mischief.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
