Police investigating possibly related shootings

Windsor police are investigating two separate shootings on March 21.

The first incident happened around 8 p.m. on Lincoln Road near Erie Street. Police say multiple shots were fired at a home.

The second happened just after 9 p.m. on Howard Avenue near Hannah Street. Investigators found several shell casings after shots were fired at another home.

There were no physical injuries reported in either incident.

The Major Crimes Unit believe the incidents were targeted and may be related.

A dark SUV seen in the area of Howard Avenue at the time of the incident has been identified as a vehicle of interest.

Residents in either area with surveillance or dashcam footage are asked to check their video for evidence between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on March 21, 2024.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
