Drugs and guns seized

A 35-year-old man is facing charges after Windsor police seized illegal drugs and counterfeit money during a recent investigation.

On Thursday, the Drugs and Guns Enforcement Unit searched a home on Church Street. They found 21.4 grams of cocaine and $300 in counterfeit U.S. money. Officers also recovered a 12 gauge shotgun stock and ammunition.

The man was charged with possession of counterfeit money and failure to comply with a release order.

The charges have been proven in court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
