Allyson Avenue fire ruled accidental

A house fire on Wednesday evening on Allyson Avenue in Windsor has displaced three residents.

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services said no one was hurt.

The fire started in the basement and caused $200,000 in damages.

Investigators ruled the cause as accidental.

Meanwhile, a house fire on Benjamin Avenue on Monday remains under investigation.

The fire also caused $200,000 in damages and displaced two people.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
