Suspect sought in theft from west Windsor market

Windsor police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a market on the west end.

Investigators say the man entered the business on Huron Church Road near McKay Avenue, took $200 worth of merchandise from shelves, and tried to walk out without paying.

When an employee tried to stop the suspect, the man threatened them with a knife before fleeing. The employee was not hurt.

Police have released a photo of the suspect and have asked the public to contact them if they recognize him.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
