Windsor Fire and Rescue engine, February 2024. One person is in hospital after a house fire on Alexis Road in Windsor.
Fire crews were called to the scene at around 12 p.m. on Thursday and quickly extinguished the blaze.
A damage estimate hasn't been released, but fire officials said a dog and some birds were also rescued from inside the house.
There is no word on how the fire started.
