Essex issues casting call for summer performers

If you're a performer in Windsor-Essex, the Town of Essex would like to talk to you.

The Arts, Culture, and Tourism Committee is seeking artists and bands to participate in the Town's Tune Up the Parks concert series.

The weekly series runs in July and August. Performances will be at Heritage Gardens in Essex Centre and the Colchester Harbour Pavilion.

"The Tune Up the Parks concert series serves as a celebration and recognition of local musicians and an opportunity to come together as a community," read a media release from the Town.

Performers are not paid for appearing, but the Town is available to help with preparation and setup.

If you would like to be considered for this summer's concert lineup, fill out the online form.
