Improvements coming to Wilson Park in Windsor

The City of Windsor has begun the addition of amenities to a park west of the downtown core.

Work began Monday at Wilson Park, on McEwan Avenue and Wyandotte Street West, as part of the ongoing Reimagining Adie Knox project.

Crews have begun adding batting cages for cricket and baseball practice.

The work will take about four weeks to complete.

Park facilities will remain operational during construction, but users are asked to stay clear of work areas.
