UPDATE: Suspicious package investigated near University of Windsor

The University of Windsor says the CAW Student Centre will be open on Wednesday after a report of a suspicious package Tuesday afternoon.

Few details have been released, but officers responded to the area of Patricia Road and University Avenue West, near the University of Windsor campus.

Dillon Hall and the University Computer Centre were also evacuated as a precaution.

Those buildings will also be open on Wednesday.

The University said police investigated and found no threat to public safety

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
