Children struck in collision

Windsor Police are investigating after a vehicle struck two children while they chased a ball into the street.

It happened on Westcott Road between Tecumseh Road East and Ypres Avenue around 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The children, who are six and nine, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 89-year-old driver stayed on the scene after the accident.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
