Dates set for LaSalle Strawberry Festival

The dates have been nailed down for a Windsor-Essex summer tradition.

The Town of LaSalle has set June 6 to June 9 as the dates for the 2024 Strawberry Festival, to be held at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex.

"My favourite LaSalle event is the LaSalle Strawberry Festival. It is our longest-running event, 36 years this year, and it is the kickoff to summer in LaSalle," said Mayor Crystal Meloche.

As usual, the festival will feature a full slate of live entertainment, a midway, parade, fireworks, food, and of course, strawberries.

Headliners on the entertainment stage will include Canadian Country artist Carson Janik on Friday night, and Taylor Swift tribute artist Shannon Beresford on Saturday night.

The Strawberry Festival Parade is set for Saturday, June 8. It will step off on Front Road at the Turkey Creek Bridge, and make its way to Sacred Heart Drive.

Complete information on the Strawberry Festival can be found on the Town of LaSalle's official website.
