Update: Firefighters battle fire at Victoria Avenue home

The damage to one of Windsor's Victorian-era is severe after a fire early Monday morning on Victoria Avenue.

Firefighters were called to the home near Elliott Street West around 2 a.m.

No one was hurt, but the home's roof collapsed.

Damage is estimated at $700,000.

Investigators listed the cause of the fire as undetermined.

Meanwhile, crews have begun demolishing a home that went up in flames last week on Ouellette Avenue.

The so-called "Rainbow House" was destroyed in the fire on May 2.
