Police investigating home invasion

Windsor police arrested two suspects and are looking for one more after a home invasion over the weekend.

Officers arrived at a home on Marentette Avenue around 6 a.m. Saturday after a report of a break and enter.

Investigators learned three people, one of whom had a baseball bat, forcefully entered the home.

Once inside, there was a physical altercation with two people. The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect stole personal property and took off in a silver Kia sedan.

Police tracked down two suspects, a 19-year-old and a 21-year-old. They are facing charges of break-and-enter, assault with a weapon, and theft under $5,000.

A third suspect is still outstanding. Police describe him as an Arab man around 20 years old, 5'8" tall, with a thin build, short curly hair and a full beard.

Investigators ask everyone in the area to check their dashcam or surveillance footage for evidence related to this case. Anyone with information should call the Major Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4830.
